The Emerald City Comicon came and went.
So did my birthday.
The Con went well I'd say/
The first thing anyone asked me to draw was a pic of Rogue from the XMEN. And well anyone who knows me knows that she's ALL I drew for practically 5 years. When I was first actually trying to draw well. Something about a loner who can't be touched/didn't want anyone touching her.
She was like the perpetual rape victim. At least in her mentality.
"I want to love, but for the horror of what happens when people touch me."
Anyway. That was the highlight for me. 10minutes into being there HAHA
The first day went okay, I didn't feel too out-of-place.
I even met up with someone from here! Who I had forgotten lived in the area. Since last time we were in contact I was in Wisconsin still... with no innernet

Then the second day I found out:
I'm retarded around strangers! Couldn't get up and talk to anyone without having some kind of fit of fright and apprehension. I thought I was over all of that!
Sure it's cute to be all shy when You're a kid. But I was trying to talk to people and turning beat red and tongue tied for NO REASON. it's not like I was tryin to talk to someone I was a fan of. Just average joe comic artist. Blah. I need meds.
I was coming down with a sickness too, that didn't help.
Snozzy and Sniffly for a week afterwards.
The muh Burfday on the 26th..
I spent the weekend with Mike.
We went to Folklife in Seattle with his friend/roomate Suri, but were there late. I paid for gas.
He played dance dance revolution, I just can't get into that game..
so woohoo I spent loads of quarters entertaining him for like hour and a half.
went out for the last song of the night.. Went to some restaurant, I had 2 mix drinks. went dutch for the food. went to his place.
Next day we went to Some po-dunk out in the middle of nowhere place for some damn Swap Meet. With his friends Harris and Gary. again we were too late to see anything really. Mike has family out there. I paid for gas and food, along with Gary.
Went to his place. Monday Memorial day. My actual birthday.
I was taken home and ate some cake that was made for me, went to work until 11pm
Came home. Utterly uninteresting and utterly nothing that I wanted to do.
Swap meets are fine. when they arent HOURS away and NOT worth it.
Folklife is fine. when we aren't standing around watching people play video games forever.
I don't know what I'm trying to say. I hate thinking about it because it makes me sad to think that I would of had more fun staying home. THEN I start thinking that I shoulda just stayed in milwaukee cuz at least the friends I had there woulda made sure I had an awesome birthday. THEN I start hating my life and my job and.. everything.
I'm not getting anywhere I'm not going anywhere it's really depressing.
And I'm entirely too poor. and sad.
